calvus mainly just spammed oversized high damage moves, which allanon was doing, he literally summoned an entire ritual for a 5 second like 1800 damage attack
Allanon was a genuinely well done character tbh
Also the first boss that actually had build up, rather than being one we had just met and then will never see again like the rest pretty much are

His story was wrapped up so quickly that I really didn’t feel anything.
I mean sure it’s sad and all but I really don’t know allon and his wife.. (I don’t even remember her name anymore) long enough to really feel bad or anything.
I mean the entire story line was just us running around really and it’s very poorly done imo.
I do like his design thou, I saw some fan art some artist made and it was bad ass.

I like his character but i do feel the event happend to him feel so much coincidence to player story that i surprise that the story didn’t blame the player for his madess or the death of his lover

I guess his build up is good? I don’t know what to say he’s really tainted to me by his boss fights because they’re so annoying, like having to fight him with an ally is alright enough (even though they die like almost immediately), but to then defeat him, get a health decrease for a short while and then immediately fight him again but with 1k more health while he has regen (still) and near instakill attacks is just, so stupid. His lore (that I know since I haven’t beaten him a second time) is alright, but his boss fights are insufferable
i feel like im the only person that really enjoyed his boss fight
