Regardingthe anime talk, I think Houseki no Kuni deserves more recognition. Great anime, 12 episodes (only season, manga is finished) and great character design AND dogs

- genshin impact both gameplay wise as well as community wise is utter dogshit, along with most gacha games usually associated with it, like zenless zone zero and honkai star rail (probably because it’s the same chinese devs)

Ace Combat 5 is the weakest of the post-PS1 games and doesn’t deserve to be part of the Holy Trinity. The only memorable moments in the game are the 8492nd’s reveal, Chopper’s death, and the sinking of the Hrimfaxi. The majority of the missions aren’t fun to play, the music has very few standouts (namely The Unsung War and First Flight) compared to other entries, and it started the trend of Belkans being involved in every conflict on the opposing side.
Ace Combat 6 is better than people give it credit for. While yes, many missions lacked gimmicks, the gameplay loop was certainly the best in the franchise and some characters (Pasternak and Shamrock specifically) were extremely charming in their presentation. It also had the Ace of Aces missions, which really should’ve made a return in 7.
Much colder take, but Ace Combat Zero is the singular best game in the franchise and no game from Project Aces has yet to surpass it. The story, the music, the gameplay, and the characters are all excellent. The final duel with Pixy is one of the best fights in ANY arcade flight game.
The constant involvement of Belkans in wars needs to stop and only harms the story of games where it is present. It was understandable in 5 and Zero (5 introduced Belka and Zero covered the Belkan War), however having Belkan nationals give tech to the Estovakians and Erusians (in 6 and 7 respectively) only tarnishes their image and reduces them to the stereotype that the game seems to promote (Reference One - “This guy was a Belkan, and they love to stir shit up”, Cutscene 14. Reference 2 - “They say that Belkans are known for their conspiracies.” “That’s just a stereotype.” Cutscene 13.)
We’ve seen nothing of Belka itself since the Belkan War, yet every time something goes wrong in the recent games (be it Yuktobania and Osea going to war, Emmeria being attacked by Estovakia, or Erusea doing their shit again), Belkans are always somewhat involved. It’s as if the Grey Men were never defeated, instead having many different Belkans take up the same role that they once did. It’s gotten bland from a story standpoint - I’d much prefer to see them portrayed in a positive light for once or have them not be included at all.
I chalked up my gameplay in that as being a dumbass kid cause I kept spamming the explosion spell to level up
That punk little Savaria Tower boss can kiss my ass. How in the world is anyone supposed to beat it when they can fling you out of the tower, render your spells moot, and cloud your vision like crazy, ALL while you’re roughly Level 20?
I agree with that but for me playing deltarune is my chance at reliving me childhood per say since I could only watch undertale playthroughs growing up
As for anime takes I don’t think shows like jjk or hxh have hard to understand powersystem say all tbh you literally just have to use your brain a bit more to understand what’s going on
Also solo leveling is honestly a show that is carried by animation with little to no effort into its side characters like chae why does she even like Jin woo to begin with besides smelling good lmao

Persona 3 fucking sucks. I’ve already gone through highschool IRL, I don’t need to experience it again. You shouldn’t waste 60+ hours of your precious free time playing a game thats half highschool-simulator, half boring turn-based combat.
