What does the word "selino" mean?

ya. gonna be using Javelin on my Paladin.

Javelin gives me the impression that it works like Pulsar, but is probably going to be smaller and focus more on being a fixed area denial. In other words you can stab it into the ground and cause pulses in that area to limit access to that area while Pulsar focuses on denying a significant amount of area as it moves.

I wonder if it’ll pulse on a player if you directly hit them…
I should also reread the patch notes before I continue debating just in case the prior is all misinformation.

Nope, checks out, still wondering if it sticks into a player and continues to do pulse damage though. If so then this would be a good option for light magic since it could maintain the status.

You’re kinda right. Ekrix means “explosion”, exopolis means “outside/outer city”, and vima means insurance (and maybe some other stuff).

So Vetex is using real words, but they barely make any sense as the names of these abilities. I could kind of understand ekrix being an explosion of mobility, but with that logic any dodge could have gotten that name. Maybe exopolis could be looked at as meaning “go outside of city” although it would make more sense if exo was describing “city”/“polis”. Vima probably makes the most sense because a dodge is sort of a way to ensure you avoid damage.

I don’t know why I’m surprised by how confusing this is since a savant is someone who is really good at one thing.

Selino is likely derived from the Greek name “Selene” which means “the moon.”
SeleneMeaning

I’m confident in this because Vetex reacted to the Selino patch note with a crescent moon.

Probably a series of crescent melee slashes that occupy a wide range in front of you.

Like a similar shape to axe slash but melee, since the phrase “final hit” wouldn’t make sense for ranged and we already have a moon shaped ranged technique

OR

LADY CARINA’S CRESCENT MOON SHAPED DOWNWARD WAVE!!

Not her teleport smash, the one with the slash waves

so pissed that bosses drop their unique weapons but not their unique creative abilities (calvus conjurable blasts, carinas teleport and slash) so this set of spells might be that

I’d imagine her teleport smash will be named something like “Flash Impact”
Carina’s crescent slashes could be it, but I think it’s a bit boring when Axe-Slash looks similar.

Patch notes mention it having multiple hits so I doubt it.

Her move is probably just special axe slash

Carina’s attack hits multiple times I’m pretty sure, even though each slash comes out at kinda the same time.

Obviously its Summon Celery

wtf is he doin???

I wonder where Vetex got the idea for the name or just where he knows the words.

Either he is a man of culture (not the porn addict) who knows many media, or he just randomly Google random words from different language and find one that’s cool

Insanity technique

It’s either Lady Carina’s kick (different than an Axe Slash it hits multiple times despite having a single projectile)

A skill based on throwing a tree against an opponent.

Or a special downward skill? Idk, lol. If it’s for Hybrids it’s definitely not that much of a complex skill, but surely tactical enough of a skill.

Javelin is literally AA Lightning Annihilation by the looks of it
