That is true, there was an npc during the Halloween 2024 event called Silas The Lost Soul. But Silas is also the canonical name of the player confirmed by Vetex.
I don’t know if Vetex is aware of the classic rules when writing an interaction between characters, all you have to do is imagine what you would say if you were the character, based on what the character’s motivation is in that scene.
If there’s no motivation, no one should be talking, even if it’s to establish something.
If this makes you realize that the characters have no motivations, fix it, don’t roll with it.
It’s a fault when writer write world first, story second. While it can be useful, it does limit the possibility and potential you can have in the story.
He’s a world builder. So the the world serves the main plot than the world enhance the plot.
i should also mention that he explicitly gave silas 3 weapons, so while he could be talking about what an ideal in-game silas build would run, I’m going to assume he’s referring to in-lore silas and decided to tether him to gameplay rules for some unknown reason
