Traded sunken helm for atlantean weapons
I haven’t really done many stupid things, at least not yet.
The most stupid thing I have done however is when I decided to level up a new file which I wanted to turn into a warlock. First I spent all my stat points into melee to get the fighting style I needed, so my build was a berserker at that point. After this I started to invest more points into magic, but I didn’t have enough yet to go back to warlock. I had absolutely no ranged attacks that dealt noticeable damage at all. Literally the only attack with okay range and damage was an old flintlock m1, but since this was before the removal of ammo, I could only use it like 100 times
then for some reason I decided to fight Argos
I spent a solid 4 hours just running in and dying in like 10 seconds because his aoe is just too big and I have no way to do actual damage without getting shredded by like 3 different attacks
After a while some random person that was doing the storyline came by and decided to help me.
Whenever someone dies in the dark sea I give them a “consolation prize” (1 sandflower)
Jumping into a Dark Sea volcano because I needed to test what it would do

I’ve done that, and I had like 10 chests at the time too lol
Tried to swim to my boat in the dark sea when I should’ve regenerated my stamina and drowned
why would you do that? the water is lava in the dark sea, staying too long=death to either one of those things:
-Drowning
-Sharks
-Large Waves.

This is dumbest things in ao so of course it’s not a good choice
not to mention water poisoning

Another dumb thing I did was I was in the dark sea and my ship sunk. I swam over to an abandoned brig and saw giant white eyes in the water. “Let’s check it out!” Got one shotted by white eyes and also a megalodon
Not me but a person decided to trade 4.7k and an acrimony for a single atlantean essence
