But hear me out.
If we take just one third of their liver instead of their entire liver, that means they’re left with two thirds more.
And since we only took one third of the liver instead of the entire liver, we can take another two thirds.
Each third we take saves two thirds, and since we take three of them to get a whole liver, that means they’re left with two whole livers, and they don’t need both, either, so we can just take a spare one.
