At this point, reworking the entire equipment system to behave similarly to elden ring’s may be optimal (I dislike the thought of a dual-wielding weapon class, which yes, is already in-game).

Issues with this

Problem 1: Skills won’t work this way.
Solution: Make dual-wielding only provide half of both weapons’ skills.

Problem 2: Dual-wielding skills won’t be available.
SolutionA: Turn them into dual-wielding variants of already existing skills (e.g. Flash Strike turns into Mirrored River when dual wielding weapons of equal weight class).
SolutionB: Turn them into fusion skills gained by using a specific skill on one weapon and another (e.g. Flying Slash on both weapons would turns it into Twin Crescents), this would also allow for the addition of unique dual-wielding skills.
SolutionC: Turn them into dual-wielding only skills (more boring, but would work better than solutionB all while having the same potential).
