most magics are lost to time, meaning we can’t ever discover them or they’re VERY, VERY rare. some are really ancient and forbidden too

Indeed, they also have personalities that can interact to their own hosts too. But imagine this… A Wizard + Parasite Host

It’s a pretty similar concept tbh, the parasites in P:TM find a host and grant them augments, but I think it also affects the user’s personality
