Ash Magic V2

I decided to vote for Knight just from the SHEER AMOUNT of content that will be added for Spirit Weapons and normal weapons.

tempered musket crits on whatever the max power becomes in the update

gunlord with vanishing style

honestly, the results of this (and the counterpart - worst build) is quite interesting:

as a quick summary:

Magic is seen as something that’ll be oppressive:

  • Paladin is the Winner of Best Build, with a staggering 15 votes of 47, aka 31%
  • Mage comes second in Best build category. 17%/8 votes
  • Warlock and Conj are much lower, 3 & 2 respectively, but they both also have 2 in worst build, so its clear their being portrayed as “Balanced”.

most magic builds also dont suffer from wirst build votes: mage got 1 and pal got 2.

This trait also seems to be shared by Vitality:

*Again, Paladin places first in this poll.

  • Oracle being 4th with 10%/5 votes.
  • Jugg follows behind with 3 votes or 6%
  • And Knight with 2 votes or 4%.

again, they also weren’t voted to be the worst: Knight got 4 votes; oracle and paladin got 2 votes; jugg got 0.

Weapons seems to be considered the most “Balanced” out of all our options:

  • Conjurer and Knight got 2 votes for best build
  • Warlord got 1 vote in best build.
  • Warrior got 0 best build votes.

Likewise, the worst build votes arent pointed towards weapons much: Warlord got no votes for worst build; Warrior only got 1; Conj got 2; and Knight got 4, some of which might stem from Knight being abysmal right now (no knight pickers commented).

as for Strength, its been pushed down heavily as the worst, imo, probably because of the PvE requirement, Strength is notoriously bad for PvE because of NPC aim, whereas Magic has always been good and Weapons can do a bit of CqC and Range, with Vitality following but more range:

  • Berserker got 2nd place in worst build. 17% or 9 votes. it only recieved 2 votes towards best build.
  • Best recieved Strength Build seems to be Juggernaut, 3 best votes, and 0 worst votes.
  • Warlock clocks in next, 3 good votes, but 2 bad votes.
  • Warlord also comes in at average, with 1 best build vote, and 0 worst build votes.

interesting one is definetly Savant as its quite mixed. 3rd place in best build, 1st place is worst build. I dont see savant being worse myself, but I’ll steer away from my bais. If you thought Paladin has a large margin, then get ready to hear that 55% of voters believe that Savant will be nuked for full release. suprisignly being worse in all departments to even edge out berserkers PvE crutch.

I think our solution is to have: What will be the Most Balanced/Average build on full release (PvE and PvP).

overall synopsis of the people:

Magic still good, wont get bad; Vitality could shape a ton of classes into very strong units, but might not be good solo, like warrior/weapons; Weapons is fine as a mix, being quite balanced despite the new moves being added; and Strength is falling heavily (again likely due to PvE).

its gonna be joever for us knights… our one unique gimmick has been lost (im gonna keep being a knight tho)

what was knights unique gimmick???

Knight had a unique gimmick?

vitality

it wasn’t knight-specific but it was kinda what set it apart from being a worse conj

same with jugger now that i thinka bout it

Paladin on its merry and giddy way to be unique while Knight and Jugg watch as they’re sentenced to be Conj and Warlock’s eternal rivals:

tbh i don’t think warlords will ever be bad, strength and weapons are too versatile to ever be weak.

People not voting for weapon builds is crazy, they’ll have more skills than every other route COMBINED

Yeah, and those skills are genuinely nuts. Especially considering we’ll get better weapons next update too, and potential boss drop weapons on top of that. The only reason I didn’t choose warrior is because I want to stand by my role as a forever zerker glazer

we aren’t choosing weapons because paladin is also going to get a lot of skills and be magic based (bteam hasn’t figured out a good way to nerf magic like they did my boy thermo)
