This would make sense initially BUT, Magic energy isnât exclusive to casting magic. The energy is also used for physically strength and armament.
I suppose you could argue that muskets and guns could be given to the weaker soldiers but I doubt they would be able to fight some of the super humans who have good magic energy while still not being able to cast magic even with guns.
So essentially to be a soldier you probably still need a good amount of energy. If that is the case then Sword users can just learn skills like flying slash to hit people at range so it isnât necessarily true that Muskets and guns are better in AO especially on higher stages where they could be slower due to the reload requirements.

No that literally says all the cool fancy stuff is magic. Powder fist exploding, using leg well iron leg. Thermo going hot, sailor fist. Maybe not boxing well maybe the higher tier knock back.
But their actual strength and body. is no more stronger then ours
The weight requirements and productions costs will sky rocket. Realistically soldiers are expected to die. you canât just add every single gun modification in the military and send soldiers into war cuz they will die without providing value and often the costs will overrun.
Magic form what we see from potions and the fact that we can survive 1000s of meter feet tall most likely passively increases durability
If we remove the magic from the equation
Regular foot soldiers could likely stick to regular weapons. The average dude is going die to an arrow or engage in melee combat. High rankers should have guns though
Vetex literally says other wise.
We arenât giving them legendary weapons or anything, even the poorest of criminals can get themselves a fucking flintlock. To be a soldier i assume you have to have atleast some wealth to purchase your own equipment, if not then Ravenna should have more than enough funds and bronze to spare to make themselves basic flintlocks and muskets

Just by having magic in the body passively increases durability and very else from mages having hundreds of years+ lifespans
Magic increases the life span yeah as you use magic. It doesnât make you stronger. Vetex literally said even with pure strength youâre not out doing peak humans irl.
