The ship of the line makes the borealis look like a deepwoken dinghy next to an ironclad.

It LITERALLY spans a good portion of the bronze sea IN ITS ENTIRETY.

The only thing Iā€™m worried is the frigate is just gonna be an unrated sloop of war, which basically just add 2 cannons above deck and retain the ketch cannons instead of the 20 cannon beast I expected a bit of an exaggeration but you get the point

But considering the fact it will get a mortar may just be a dead giveaway that this is gonna be the former.

Even though I wish it would feel like a brig or bigger caravel, I gotta agree with you, we should lower our expectations, hopefully the ship of the line or man oā€™ war will feel good later on

A frigate likely means I can collect more deckhands, which is always a good thing.
If itā€™s fast thatā€™ll also be nice.
If Iā€™m guessing right, the frigate will look somewhat like the one in Ironport.
