Who in fiction can beat Morock, the Hound of God?

Cursebeard, literally confirmed to be able to

Idk, causes massive storms apparently though.

Literally made of water.

Ok but those guys’s water isn’t polluted with magic energy, doesn’t work

It would if they’re in the AO world? Now that I think of it, imagine a mutated Kyogre.

spongebob like lowkey

Spoilers for books 1-4 of The Stormlight Archive ahead.

Alright so I discussed in another thread, but a Knights Radiant from The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson, who’s a Windrunner or Skybreaker of the fourth or fifth ideal could absolutely stomp Morock.

Mostly spoiler-free description of Radiant’s powers:

(Note this quote has been edited slightly, to improve grammar and clarity.)

So KRs (because the Knights Radiant is a group of people, but an individual one could still take Morock down.) are fully equipped to destroy Morock. The only limiting factor would be if they ran out of Stormlight (their power source) However, this can be overcome by carrying more of the power source or through perpendicularities which are sources of pure investiture which powers all of the magic in the Cosmere.

It should also be noted, that KRs have been shown to heal from a super-charged beam of direct sunlight, when not in direct exposure without their Shardplate. As well as being able to survive in said sunlight with their plate, so Morock’s flame shouldn’t pose too much of a risk.

All the Radiant would need to do is get in close, using their plate to absorb the damage, and then cut the Hound with their Shardblade. He won’t be able to dodge the strike by turning into flame, since the Shardblade cuts the soul, not the flesh.

wtf is annie may

I don’t know ethier

okay hear me out, Hitori Gotou.

a running gag in the show is misfortune bestows her, and in a fight the thing she’d wish for most would be for it to end.

in which case, the universe’s laws would naturally go against her, causing the fight to wind up in a stalemate. therefore, while not technically beating Morock, Morock would be unable to beat her.

this same theorum applies to characters such as Mr. Bean and various slice of life characters

there’s a video where this theorum first came to mind, here:

Jesse what the hell are you talking about
