Thats basically the same as Durza without his nuke
if elsa freezes durza, he can just make a self fire explosion and melt all the ice, if elsa runs, durza can just explode everything near her which will leave her nowhere to run, if she defends herself with ice barriers durza can melt it with fire or magma or whatever heat based magic he has in his arsenal. Her durability is meaningless as durza can just make her unable to fight.

he can do that before he’s frozen, so he can no longer be frozen

You see but elsa is much faster and can freeze her opponents so elsa would react quicker than durza
he can imbue himself instantly though… instantly is faster than quick reaction speed
I dont think he has a heat based curse so he would have to summon a magic circle
