her name is marc(h) maritza, her name is maritza btw, figured itd be kinda weird if i keep using mari since, well, i officially use it as my name now
current lore is:

comes from a family of fixers specialize in exploration, mommy and daddy used to take her and her younger sister to the ruins and other places, which made both siblings dream of becoming fixers themselves due to how fascinating they found those places

one day, however, their father got driven mad after being exposed to a relic/artifact and tried killing his family, so the mother had to put him down right in front of the sisters

the younger sister is unsurprisingly traumatized by this and doesnt want anything to do with fixers afterward and never went on any trip with her mother and older sister. she’s currently living in a wing as a feather with her family.

pink-haired over here however only become even more fascinated with relics ruins and shits so she continues following her mother footsteps and training, eventually becoming a fixer of the dieci association.

at this point, the sisters were on still on talking terms, but not particularly positive

one day, however, the mother disappeared without a trace. the younger sister simply think she got lost and/or died somewhere during one of her exploration and just saw it as another reason they should stay away from fixer works, trying to convince her older sister but to no avail as her fascination with the unknowns still burn bright, if anything, only even brighter now, fueled by a desire to learn what exactly happen to their mother

one day, during an exploration, maritza got exposed with “something” in the ruins and promptly got her minds shattered. ammesia (straight up doesnt even remember anything about her family atp), aphantasia, reduced attention span and focus, short-term memory, etc.

obviously, this is very bad, even worse bcs the mind is probably the most important aspect of a dieci fixer, so maritza soon lost her job bcs she can barely absorb knowledge into her brain anymore

the path diverge from here depending on what mirror world she’s in, but generally she probably tried to find more clues about her past but to not much success and eventually on the verge of giving up when either lcorp or faust (limbus) recruits her, or maybe, currently the “canon” mirror world, she got recruited by juliet into cloudfarers office
originally her backstory used to be related to the index and wcorp but i decided to simplify it down a bit
juliet and piper also had their backstory written as well, but im scrapping them to make a new on. currently juliet’s backstory related to u corp/eight association (original blade lineage), and paul’s backstory is related to the thumb (original kurokumo clan)

Paul blasphemy is Whisper, Maritza’s is Smother, and Juliet’s is Palace
originally they were suppoed to have vector smother and gate but i want a bit more variety, so i try finding a way to give them different blasphemies… before giving up b4 it was late as shit and my brain was abt to shut down
so instead i just brute force shit and color checked basically, paul s3 is gluttony and his s2 is pride so i give him a blue blasphemy, his total score was yellow and blue 2 so i just give him the blue blasphemy that borders the yellow group lol
currently his agenda is hardline but id probably changed it cuz i chose it based on his stats and i just feel like i should have chose it based on his virtues and sins instead, so thats what im doing to9
