I’d make the story more concrete with specific arenas and spawn locations for bosses and important NPCs. That irritated me about WoM and I really wish it was more streamlined. Not to mention, having a WHOLE FUCKING CONTINENT YOU’D HAVE TO ADVENTURE AROUND TO FIND ONE BOSS sounded like AGONY.
Or I’d remove the whole story. Either or.
I would also totally do what the current revamp’s additions for fighting styles, but I’d try to look into the originally planned creatable skills for weapons. I see why creatable weapon skills probably fell through, but at the same time you could circumvent it with some clever system design to make the skills independent of the weapons and instead key them to weapon types while leaving some keybinds open for the weapon-specific skills. (Example to visualize it: Binding a spin slash to a blade that has a large radius, and four other skills, but you’re using a sunken sword so Rising Tide is bound to smth like X or Z)
Cultural items are merely discounted to members of the associated culture. Honestly it’s kind of… If it’s the right term, racist to make people only obtain weapons of their associated culture.
Keep the banks, add more purpose to exploration, FUCKING SHRINK THAT DESERT HOLY SHI-, add some more landmarks, introduce an underground area, optimize it all, and then proceed to have a fucking heart attack trying to come up with the lost items.
Oh, and finally?
Recruit more builders and some modelers. Most if not everything in the Arcane series are reskined or reused Roblox items. I’d totally recruit modelers to make unique weapons and armor to give the world a far more unique feel that truly makes it immersive and self-contained. Oh, and more base customization. UGC hairs rock, but the shirts and pants we could probably use more of imo.
