Some good old beam mods:
Lance: a fast moving beam of energy that creates no explosion but deals high damage.
Blaze: a constant beam of energy that deals low DoT and applies status effects, usual explosion, usual size, time it lasts can be set.
Some blast based stuff:
Orb: An extremely large but very slow blast that deals medium DoT and applies status effects to those touching/within it.
Fan: Shoots out a swathe of magic that moves like a blast, expanding in a linear fashion until it reaches a maximum size and disappears/dissipates. Size increase rate can be set.
Arc: A blast that travels in a curve so as to avoid clashes. Otherwise pretty normal. The way it curves is randomized, straight enough to reach targets in similar time, curved enough to avoid clashes.
Counterstrike: A medium speed large blast with increased clash rates. Designed to block attacks (ik thereā€™s shield but I donā€™t think itā€™ll work like this). Short range.
Spray: A bunch of explosions like a shotgun.
Boomerang: Think this is pretty self-explanatory.
Some explosion based stuff:
Line (I canā€™t think of other names): Basically a line of relatively small placed explosions to a certain point, they strike together. Type can be set (sphere, pillar, etc.)
Chain Explosions: Placed explosions appear at the casterā€™s cursor. Firerate depends on magic casting speed. Set maximum range (may depend on magic size). Cursor can be moved during casting. Up to 5 explosions may be part of the chain.

I would also like to see some customizable blast/beam/explosion shapes, like chains (mentioned above), blades, etc. They could be spells in their own right as well.

binding spell, used to hold people and npcs captive so you can actually pick-up their bounty or hold them hostage for law-breaking purposes

Assassination Spell, only works when ur undetected and behind the enemy

Snipe Spell alternate beam but you get a scope and it has a ton more range

or just give a unique thing to each magic other then status effects like summon a water bubble around someone to drown them but while their in the bubble your magic still depletes so they have a chance to get out may be a bit OP and higher lvls when you get more mana tho

Clone Spell - Would summon a bunch of ā€œspiritsā€ that can give insanity and obscure someones vision.

Grapple- a chain latches onto a target, and pulls them toward you.
