It wouldn’t make the world much different since my oc’s arent edgy reality-eaters 
most of mine aren’t either it’s just the fact that I don’t think people would react calmly to the sight of an extraterrestrial or a sentient fridge or something
my ocs are basically all the voices in my head that go away after I take my meds, so heres what’d happen if they started existing.
- a russo-ukrainian family of four pops up somewhere
- a random scottish-french guy and joins the GIGN
- a really old german dude digs himself out of his grave
- a german woman starts existing and probably fails collage ig
- also an american gun nerd and conspiracy theorist begins blowing stuff up in his backyard
give Atlas 6 years living amongst humanity and she is burning this galaxy down

Magic Exist and The world is inhabited by weird Goopy stuff that Consumes peoples Happiness or dreams.
When I say particular interest I don’t mean it in that way I just mean it in the sense that they’d probably notice you in a crowd or something
most of my OCs are kind of too wacky too be dateable anyways and all my female characters either don’t have interest in romance or are already in a relationship
Nothing would happen, unless you mean that everyone is brought over/snapped into place to my position.

As for the AO OCS uhh I don’t think humanity is screwed per se because no one has a curse nor can instantly end the world + the current military is quite powerful to say the least
Though they will definitely be a problem because in my headcanon the physical strength of ao humans is exaggerated (like in-game) and magic users have funny traits due to their genotype being altered by their magic energy.
(I will explode if they take a particular interest in me considering some ao ocs are goofy and my non-ao ocs are feral)

Every one of my OCs manifesting into reality? I mean, everyone’s OCs would practically doom the earth turning into a post-apocalyptic world, really.
I’d also be screwed too you know, there’s like a 85% chance I’ll die to my own OCs if they found out I am their creator (because you know I’m the cause of them being miserable)

Shit’s fucked. Magic just starts to exist, so at best, government instability is high, and at worst, it’s total anarchy. Also there’s now actual furries/scalies, which in turn means racism could theoretically skyrocket, just towards them. Said characters would also want to crash themselves into a wall after looking at the people representing them, i.e. furry twitter and the crazy people at conventions. Roulette isn’t spinning a gun’s barrel and pulling the trigger; it’s the dealer going to a furry art site, telling you to pick a number between 1 and the max posts on one page, then showing you the post matching said number.
Oh and there’s more “normal” dragons, which isn’t helping.
The humans get it better, since they can integrate themselves into society far more easily. The pre-existing population wouldn’t be left completely in the dark about how Magic works for the ones who just appeared, since two of my characters study how it works for a living. I also have two assassin characters, so there could and would be a few people dying from the dimensional merge alone.
Assuming that the sapient characters spawn in around my area and end up heat-seeking me out, I’d be confused beyond belief and just try to ignore it, before likely warming up to them over time. Now that I think about it, the people already near me act like that.

Four of them come from a urban fantasy world and are just chilling, though they might be confused as to were all the other magicians went and what happened to their store. The rest of them come from an alternate Earth where there is high-fantasy type magic and early Industrial Revolution technology. One of them is trying to commit genocide on non-magic users, so we might be cooked.
