That’s definitely bug abusing, leaderboard players has a ton of knowledge on how to make their hunts easier. You should try and make a ticket since that is bannable, there’s a high chance that mods won’t leave it as a coincidence since that is a known bug in select circles, doesn’t help how he turned after noticing you too.

It could also be a visual bug, sometimes the turning animation doesn’t porperly play and boats snap in a direction.
Oh that’s possible but I’ve never heard of a desync like that, though the instant turn bug does exist and so far it matches what he did, same place but little to no turn radius while being able to instantly change directions. I suppose it’s all up to the game moderator to decide if he does make a ticket.
Do agree with this but I’ve seen the bug abuser in person do it while chasing someone so I definitely think it might not be a visual bug
I wouldn’t know tbh, haven’t played in like 9 months so I’m not up to date on who the boosted people / bug abusers are
