“Death brings change. Try as you might, you may deny it… and ever still, Death reaps old life with a sharp blade, and lets fire consume it to make space for the new.
To harbor this, is no small task. Death is a heavy burden. No mortal should bear this weight on his shoulders, and yet it seems fate thrusts it upon His shoulders.
He who remembers, He who carries the scythe of the reaper, He holds in his hands the most deliberate power to usher in change…the question is if He has the heart to.”
then ill jist say here that youve absolutely killed it (lol) with this countdown so far, each piece has been an absolute treat to look at and I applaud you for being able to get three whole completed works done in such a short time period
A lot of morden drawings are haunting, and I feel like this one displays his unwillingness to use his power wonderfully. The weight of his arm doesnt show resistance but reluctance, the curse literally forcing his hand to act. Its almost looks like without his curse he wouldnt even be standing here … does he probably deserve to drop down to the ground and lie there indefinitely? Probably, but the world is too cruel to give him that luxury
This stupid forum won’t let me react with more than one emoji but no words can describe how happy I am to see that kind of thought put into what I draw Gotta love this community, gotta love the support you give it
Our favorite emo boy!! I love the skeleton, very symbolic of how ensnared Morden is by such a primal, destructive force. A silent embrace influencing him from his very core.
