Okay so that does lead me to another question. Iirc the reason magic can hurt curse users is because it fucks with their curse right? If that is correct then I would imagine that spirit energy works the same way and if it does then how are curse users able to use it? If it doesn’t work like that then how does it hurt them? And if I’m extra wrong and magic doesn’t hurt curse users like that than ignore this.

So does spirit energy bypass defense then? In lore I mean, I doubt it’d be that powerful ingame.

we don’t really know that much about spirit energy yet, aside from the fact that it’s supposed to be creation energy and it can be used with spirit weapons to attack other people’s souls

I’d think that it would be able to bypass simple armour like most stuff we have right now, but you’d probably be able to make special pieces that would be more resistant against spirit energy. (this is just pure speculation tho)

This was my first thought too, Vitality users can kill Mahito confirmed

  1. Given how vitality is Creation’s counterpart to Chaos’ magic it most likely can damage curse users.
  2. Referring back to my first point, I assume using spirit energy while having a curse would be very strenuous on the soul like how using magic is very strenuous on the body.

  2. probably not? seeing as spirit energy is the antithesis to magic energy, and curse users are pure magic energy, it likely wouldn’t end well.

Technically couldn’t Curse ursers just turn into respective magic → avoid attack? Or maybe craetion energy ignores this, idk.

seeing as you turned from human that controls element into element with soul, and spirit energy attacks the soul, yeah you’d still get hit
