Really? Isnt the 4th reach itself multiple times the sight range even with clearsight 5? And the epicenter can spawn in insanity 5, right? And waves will deal damage to a speed ship over 4+ hours. And I’m pretty sure warding doesn’t fully remove insanity 5 effects, only making them less frequent.
Assuming what you’ve said is possible and only takes a few hours: do you think it’s fair to expect testers to spend tons of their time finding a way to find the super rare structure with literally no content or anything special about it since it’s being properly implemented in another update? Also if the ‘secret method’ is any kind of exploit it doesn’t count imo.
The Epicenter spawns between insanity 4 and 5 or (I don’t really remember) just before insanity 5.
Also remember that testers have access to a free cam mode so they could just have said “ok 5 of us connect and will to circles around the Dark Sea to see if it spawned.” The really annoying part is to do that on multiple servers to see if there’s not an error sometimes.
Like I said in a previous message, if they didn’t think of that, I don’t get how they are still testers.
idk if its still there but the discord qna said that testers are usually Vetex’s friends or noticable figure in the community ( like Cryo ), they arent like professionals or anything
Yeah I saw that info too but like
Come on, do your fucking job
its not really a job they dont really paid or anything
except for some ( like Cryo ) its just luck
I don’t see the point in going out of their way to test something that has 0 content though. It’s going to be updated later so the testers will probably test it then
No, it is not unrealistic. We will be getting seventeen major updates in the next week.
Since the content of the Nimbus Sea is solely three islands, a few new sets of armor, and one island of story, you are correct. It will be releasing in 5 hours.
Vetex duplicated himself 5 times in studio and can therefore get much more work done at a faster pace. This also means he is no longer credible for his actions.
Since the universe will spontaneously cease to exist by 2025, the Empires update must be completed before then.
To mitigate this, make use of long-distance flights to traverse timezones.
Sorry, but if you do not participate in our buggy, unbalanced, high-investment builds with unfun grinding, that change every two weeks with an unbearable meta and additional lag issue, you are not allowed to use this enjoyable feature.
This is viable, since every single possible island in the Dark Sea generates instantly upon a server start instance with no regard to distance to your character.
I hope this clears up some things, guys. Thanks for listening!
Thanks for clearing this up,
didn’t know vetex duplicated himself.
Gonna be waiting for the update
which is coming in 5 hours.
Very Cool
You don’t know?
About vetex’s expensive, multimillion dollar basement?
filled with his clones that are grown in biopods and awakened when the current vetex dies?
It is truly baffling the lack of common knowledge about the developer in their own community, and the ratio of such knowledge compared to unfounded and ironic criticism regarding such. This is one example.
I think it’s an absolutely perplexing spectacle, and we need to find solutions to this mass ignorance amongst these plebeians.

I mean the epicenter DOES do that

We have also been invariably motivated to play the Dark Sea for 8 hours at every new patch note to rest assured that the epicenter still spawns. We also possessed a distinguishably innate and immaculate idea of how rare the Epicenter was intended to be, compared to the similarly confirmed amount of time we had spent searching for it .
smh guys testers are obviously timegods
We’re going back in time to the first AO update to take bugs off the F9 menu.
That’s right; we’re going back in time to the first AO update to take bugs off the F9 menu.
did you know: cryonical himself traveled to the cretaceous period to hire a pack of velociraptors to playtest AO?
this is because vetex needed to check if the game was interspecies friendly but he didn’t have the budget to contact extraterrestrial life to come to earth so he used the second best thing.

I can confirm this. The game would be cancelled on twitter if we didn’t include accessibility settings for particularly intelligent ancient lizards.
Mark zuckerberg would’ve sued vetex if the game didn’t offer reptilian friendly features
I get that for some of them, this is not their main job but
If you’re a tester, test the fucking game
I agree with testing the game but the epicenter really isn’t important yet. I’d rather they test the other things in the update such as the new spells, techniques, weapon skills etc. instead of something that only a few people will find since there’s nothing special implemented at the epicenter yet.
