I’m probably gonna go light just for funny equinox but is there anything you would suggest

Basically anything other than light, crystal or ice, since their status effects decrease shadow damage.

Anti-synergies don’t apply if you applied all of the status effects yourself

Yeah vetex removed anti synergy’s for your own magics

Yeah, been that way since AO dropped iirc.

Because shadow’s fast, something slower should be a good compliment. Earth is my recommendation but crystal is also a good pick.
