Ok so firstly: HI! I’m Pixei and this is my first post here!
Secondly: Happy anniversary to AO! Been playing AA, WOM, and AO for as long as I can remember (I’m 22 now!) and I figure I might as well give back to the community by throwing in my own thing… I personally think that Morden is a p cool character but I was also a bit disappointed we didn’t see the extent of his fight with Julian so figured I’d draw that fight because the whole Ravenna portion was one of my favorite parts of the story!

love these two characters and I so wish we couldve seen more of their fight this is awesome!!! I love all the glass shards and the dramatic lighting from the end of the hallways looks so cool
Question I’ve gotten like 3 times already so im just gonna answer it in this reply: PIXEI?? WHY ARE MORDEN’S NAILS BLACK?!?!?? AND WHY ISNT HE WEARING GLOVES???
Answer:Fun fact: When a person dies, their nails turn black due to lack of blood flow and pooling. I kinda had it in my personal interpretation for Morden that when he absorbed the death curse his finger nails turned black and his complexion became less saturated (IE: He looks like a walking corpse). Also, the reason why I chose not to draw him with gloves is because his design is so annoyingly monochrome that making his hands BLACK would have caused them to merge with the rest of his body (3 different shades of GRAY used here. 4 would have been pushing it). I just wanted them to stand out and for people to look at them more (And also I like drawing fingers). That’s all.
Morden sees his reflection in the glass and notices the subtle details the Death Curse has changed in him. I’d like to see an animation of this fight that, rather than being fast and energetic, is slow and explores Morden’s psyche as he witnesses his power and is terrified of it. Meanwhile Julian doesn’t care, he’s just pissed off and goes all out.
