I recently finished my last day of High School, and I don’t know what to do with all my free time. Today, at around 1:00, I decided to stop by Blasted Rock on my Warlord file and pick up some Gunpowder Barrels. I wondered how many I could put on the Crow’s Nests or whatever they are above the deck, and that snowballed into me wondering how many barrels I could fit in total on the Brig.
HOURS 1-3
Nothing really happened in these hours. I just leisurely went in a loop around Blasted Rock for barrels, which I know from experience would respawn faster than I could finish a full loop. I think I got all four Crow’s Nests and a fifth of the lower deck done.
HOUR 4
Pirates decided to attack my ship, and for some reason, their range for blowing up barrels isn’t that large. I think only five or six blew up.
HOUR 5
Same thing, until the ONLY TWO PLAYERS IN THE SERVER at the time decided to show up and blow up the barrels I NEEDED TO COLLECT. Two of these ended up bugged and didn’t respawn, which made my route less efficient.
HOUR 6
I decided to cave after this, because frankly, I’m not depressed enough to put myself through Carpal Tunnel simulator. Only the Captain’s Quarters were truly free of Gunpowder. How many did I get in the end?
That’s a little over 20K Galleons by the way. Is it worth it? NO. Would I do it again? NO; I value myself a little more than that. You can probably make 20K by just farming Clearstones and selling them at a slight markup in the Auction, and that wouldn’t take a fourth of a day.
