Gabriella Silver [Level 180]
Disclaimer: It’s my first time writing a story, so please bear with me.
Castlian Shore, Night
During midnight duty, Sir. Gabriella Silver saw some strange sillhouetes moving on the Castlian Shore, he promptly ignored them, as they might’ve been a result of hallucinations, as he saw other strange figures earlier, went to check, and found nothing.
He was stationed near the back of Summer Hold, simply to check on criminal activity that occured on the beach, it was his first time on a stakeout.
Once again Gabriella spotted these sillhouetes, now they were more visible due to the proximity, definitely not an hallucination this time.
Moving towards the shore he slowly and stealthily, despite being heavily armored, approached some rock formations and watched from afar the two figures preparing to accost them, as he was reharsing what he was going to tell the unknown figures, a strange sailboat with Azure-like colored, and strange markings and signs in it’s sail started going towards the beach.
The boat was sailing in an unconventional manner, like it was being maneuvered by an amateur and started losing control, as it was rotating and the pilot was desperate, unable to close the sail.
Gabriella then, noticed one of the strange figures signaling to the boat, apparently they didn’t notice what was happening, however, upon closer look they resembled 2 highly dangerous wanted Dark Wizards that got involved in some shady business, or so rumors say, however, what was not known to Gabriella is that it was actually a trio of wizards, and one was lacking.
But what mattered the most for Gabriella is that the boat was speeding and the signaling suddenly turned into screams, swear words and shouts, a sound was heard as the ship crashed on-shore, hitting one of the wizards and crashing the other one that was sailing on it’s mast, sending him flying away with it.
Shortly after, the injured two of them were lying on the sand, the other one carried the one that hit himself on the mast next to the other, a discussion started between the three, the two were heavily injured.
The discussion rapidly devolved into what seemed to be more swear words and threats, the other two stopped talking, as the only one who was standing up was seriously pissed off…
The Battle: Castlian Shore, Azure Shipwreck
???: “Baah, how **** the both of *** ignorant stupid bastards always ** everything w///g! You fucker **** stood there ////////g instead of j######, and you!! FREAKING CUNT d***'t even know how to sail a damn BOAT!!! panting panting”
The uninjured person then whispered something to the two injured wizards raised his hands, a brown and big magic circle appeared on both of his hands, and it seemed both of the injured figures were already unconcious due to the loss of stamina and weakness.
Gabriella noticing what was happening quickly interfered and shouted :
???:“Charring-”
“Stop right there!”, startling the wizard as he quickly switched targets and cast his magic upon Gabriella
???:"-Assault!": The Knight tried to block, it was a very sudden move, ash clouds appeared as part of Gabriella’s armor was hit and damaged.
Now looking more closely, Gabriella noticed the foe appearance, the rumors were true, as he was now in big trouble.
Alex The Ashwalker [Level 274]:“Oh, look what we’ve got here, a little, little knight.” Said the Villain, as he begun casting another spell, Gabriella quickly positioned his shield, but the attack wasn’t directed at him…
Alex:“Charring Assault!”
The two unconcious beings, were hit by the strike, now charred and partly petrified, the face of that criminal, known to Gabriella by news and the unknown sailor now will never be recognized.
Alex:“Charring Assault!”
Gabriella was then hit by Alex’s strike, this time the shield was already positioned, albeit Gabriella was absent-minded, paying attention to the charred corpses.
Alex:“What are you looking at? The fun is only starting babe. It’s useless looking at them now, they’re gone, dead sobs, little knight… and THE NEXT WILL BE YOU!!” shouted him, as he once again said “Charring Assault!”.
Gabriella was prepared, and this time perfectly blocked his attack. Alex’s face turned red with anger, as he started getting engulfed with ash magic:
Alex: “Alright kiddo, Play time’s over”: The villain started hovering in the air and a blast of ash was suddenly cast from the Villain’s hand, no words, no shouts, no magic circle. Gabriella barely dodged the attack, and at the moment he knew:“I won’t live if I keep at distance, I must get closer!”.
Alex wasn’t the only one with a card up his sleeve, Gabriella was trained in Castlian Knight Arts since he was 9 years old.
He held his breath and whispered: “Quick-Step”, the sand of the beach midst the full moon was thrown upwards, as Gabriella dashed and closed the distance between him and the Dark Wizard, sword pointed at the Villain’s neck, a clean pierce it would’ve been.
Alex: “Hrnng!”: Said the Villain, as he tried to dodge the attack, and succeded, but barely, the sword slashed at his side, for Gabriella, it was almost like trying to cut wood, it was clear that the difference in raw power was like Sky to Heaven, Gabriella stayed calm, he knew he wouldn’t win this fight by using his magic, as it seems the enemy was slowly getting drained, he only needed to wait for him to recharge, and as Gabriella thought of this, whilst falling to the beach near to the enemy.
Arrows coming from Summer Hold were shot and hit the Villain’s back, he screamed in pain:
Alex: “WRU-ahghh! I’-l fruckn kil yu bastard!”, the words came out strangely as he quickly turned and shot Gabriella.
An ash blast hit his back, and it hurt, it hurt alot as he felt his flesh burn and his back petrify a little and got pushed further away,
Gabriella thought:"[He’s powerful, he’s crazy powerful!]", Gabriella was thrown off-balance and fell on the sand, still standing up, blood coming from his mouth:"[This battle will be harsh]", looking at the enemy, he noticed he was with his hand positioned at the slash location, bleeding profusely:"[But not impossible!]".
Alex scorned:“Hmph, Tick tock kiddo! Your friends can’t help you anymore!”: Gabriella just now noticed the area surrounding him, filled with ash clouds, it was truly becoming harder and harder to breath. The Villain started laughing, and Gabriella cast:“Fire Shot!”, and started running towards him going through the ash clouds.
A direct hit, the small flare hit the dark wizard, and started burning and spreading through his body and also burnt the arrows embedded on his back.
Alex screamed: “Aaar-gh! Now you’re done!”: Three blasts of ash, shaped like lances were shot towards Gabriella, one hit the ground near him and dissipated into ash, the other was blocked by The Knight’s Shield, and the other one was dodged in a quick step to the side.
Once again, the sand was thrown in the air, as Gabriella quick-stepped, closing the distance between both of them, three successive slashes were thrown at the criminal, the first was dodged, the other two were direct hits, one pierced his chest going through his thorax and the other was a clean slash towards his pectoral region. An ash explosion was cast releasing a high-pitched sound as the explosion hit the Knight’s armor awakening someone that the villain didn’t want to disturb. Gabriella was pushed further away, gravely injured, the Villain noticed:
Alex:"[D-damn… That punk… really did a number on me, I’m almost outta mana, fuck!.."], he then shouted:“I… I need tha-t thing… I ne-e-d it… I NEED IT NOW!”, as he started flying towards the shipwreck, Gabriella already recovered and also flew towards him, the ash was slowly but surely filling his lungs, he was surely going to die there, going to die that way, he still continued, his sword pointed towards the Villain.
The villain, flew towards the shipwreck, his hands shaking one at the hole in his thorax and the other trying to open a glowing chest. However…
Gabriella Silver:“FIRE SLASH!” 𝒯’𝒸𝒽𝒾𝓃𝓃𝓃𝑔–!
Gabriella’s longsword was faster… 6 clean slices, empowered by his fire magic, cut through the ash user’s skin like it was paper, and before his skin felt like wood, the chest was also cut, and fire also got on it, hitting a hard surface that seemed to be the hull of the ship. Gabriella was heavily damaged, his back was slightly petrified, his lungs filled with ash, and he had many, many bruises and ruptures in his skin, unknown to the Villain due to Gabriella’s heavy armor. Then he thought to himself…:"[A-atleast… Let’s see whats in there that they wanted so much…]"…
The scenary was horrific, as ash filled the Castlian Shore, the two petrified corpses could no longer be seen, dry blood could be seen on the sand, and so pieces of flesh.
Summer Hold, King David Silver’s Chamber… Earlier…
A loud sound akin to an explosion was heard, David, was sleeping and quickly started searching for the source of sound, two magic signatures popped up as he sensed his surroundings, one quite familiar, but severely weakened, and unknown the other almost fading.
He quickly dashed out of his chambers, and headed to the tower next to the shore, two soldiers were watching from afar, they had their eye regions blackened, as it seems they just woke up due to the sound, however, other three soldiers wielding a bow approached him, looking much healthier than the other two, and one of them hurringly putting the bow on his back kneleed and said:
Soldier Victor Shield:“Your Majesty! Please save him! He’s almost dying! We can’t help him, we can’t see!”
The King got startled due to the soldier’s composure, and as he was about to say something to the soldier, he was interrupted, glanced towards the beach and noticed a magic signature has dissapeared, he also noticed the ash clouds that were troubling the soldiers, and quickly flew towards the location, the force was so intense that he broke some bricks of the tower and pushed the soldiers away, knocking the three down.
Castlian Shore, Azure Shipwreck Location
Gabriella, heavily injuried, now started bleeding inside his armor. He pushed away the wood and iron debris that once were the chest, his gauntlets reached the glowing scroll, the scroll that was glowing even brighter than the full moonlight he opened the scroll, and the glow covered his face…
King David Silver’s Perspective [𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟗𝟎𝟎]
The King arrived on the scene, he slowly walked through the ash clouds.
David Silver:“Hmph… Very weak, I won’t need to cover my face…”
He noticed the magic signature, an unfamiliar one, weak and glowing at a distance, next to the sea.
Noticing the dry blood, and parts of flesh, even charred arrows , and petrified ones.
He resumed walking, noticing two petrified bodies and a broken mast in the distance, both unknown to him. It seems that they still had magic energy, albeit the users were already dead, Poison and Wind…
He continued walking, he walks very fast, as he was now in the shipwreck, he couldn’t tell where that ship was from, as the sail bearing the flag was already burnt down, and the ship was covered in ash particles, he climbed the ship. The unknown fading magic energy he sensed earlier was now dissipated in the air, he approached the other magic signature, with his hands glowing with fire, ready to cast a spell and erase the threat,he saw pieces of what was meant to be the dead body of an Ash magic user.
Next to the body matter, an unconscious Castlian Knight, the one he himself jokingly appointed as “Special Knight” due to him using magic and always boasting about it to other fellow knights, his magic energy glowed like no other in a fiery manner, shades of ocean blue and dark blue also came out from his body burning the sand and setting the debris on a blueish fire.
David Silver:“This…”: The Knight was unconscious and gravely injuried, his armor was broken, a pauldron seemingly fell off.
King David Silver, lifted the Knight with both hands, this was meant to be just another day, just another night, just a normal but first, Midnight Duty …
David Silver:“Fire Rocket”: Flew towards Summer Hold.

Some Fun Facts and Little Details

The name of the criminals are respectively, Alex The Ashwalker, Nathan The Whirlwind and Joshua The Venomous.

Alex and his comrades would’ve not gotten hurt or killed if they wore they armors and clothing, but as they were trying to be stealthy, Alex himself suggested to not go with their signature armor and clothing since they’re already known in the area.

The Soldiers were constatly shooting arrows at Alex after they noticed something was happening in the shore, slightly after Gabriella’s Quick-Step, they were still shooting arrows until King David appeared. This is why there are many burnt arrows lying in the sand when he goes there.

This entire sidestory is an entry to @Robotstics’s Roleplaying Sever, and an introduction to my character “Gabriella Silver”

There might be another prequel sidestory, telling how Nathan stole the boat, and showing more about the appearance of the other 2 Dark Wizards.

Their levels are respectively Alex [274, Awakened], Nathan [236, Awakened], Joshua [218, Mastery, has Shadow Magic as sencondary].

Alex would’ve easily overpowered Gabriella if he had his armor set, he didn’t bring it due to King David Silver existing near the area, as he would’ve easily noticed the magic energy.

Alex didn’t betray his colleagues, he started shouting and screaming threatning them, because they were going to die due to the injuries, and he was ready to petrify their bodies to bury them in the sand to end their pain, and recover the magic scroll.

Albeit I call it a shipwreck, only the mast and parts of the ship were destroyed, the hull is intact, some cannons were thrown off the beach.

Yes, I forgot to put the shield in Gabriella’s back, but he’s got a Castlian Shield.

The Castlian Knight Arts, are based on The Exiled’s in-game moves, the Fire Slash move is akin to Raging Storm.

The battle lasted about 5 minutes, and Gabriella was stalking them for about 4 minutes, from ship arrival to crash on shore. The battle also ranged from 20-40 meters from the shipwreck, the mast is found 16 meters from it, and the corpses are 4 meters away from it. Yes, they were thrown that far.
