i think it would be crazy if we got to fight a god or some undead god or a mythological being in the dark sea. truly endless possibilities. I just wanna see more ties into greek mythos
Absolutely phenomenal ideas, the nests add a new sort of element that I like a lot, and dark sea diving points would be awesome. You arenât going to hear any gripes from me if these get added.
idea: the eggs you hatch can be your pet and attack ships and other sea monsters (since they saw you first and thus thinks youre the mother), they would have an attack stat, hp stat, speed stat, and literally everything else about the stats of a sea monster
if their hp reaches 0, they die and wont respawn, you can salvage their body for bones, this also prevents you from getting an infinite army (to some extent)
some hatched sharks will have some properties, like the giant anglerfish posing its âhookâ as âbaitâ or the poison jaws inflicting poison
I think that these are great ideas! How would the sea monster fishing work? Would they attack you if you didnât catch them? Maybe it could be caught with a version of a handheld shark hunting attachment, or something like that! Overall, a great idea and should be added!

I love these ideas, given how they use the Dark Seaâs intended challenge to their advantage with proper rewards for them. I really love the Nest Diving Points and being able to fish up sea monsters. We can fish up Giant Basking Sharks and Colossal Squids, so why shouldnât we be able to fish up a White Eyes?
Isnât the current deepest seafloor in AO already the max due to the void being right below it?
I can see diving poins being on average closer to seafloor which would take advantage of the current max depth
I mean itâs only 400 studs, also vetex could just move the map up
Wouldnât that cause issues with spawn areas and waypoints? Iâm not a dev obviously but I feel like moving an entire map would come with issues unrelated to floating point stuff
