A Decently Arcane Anecdote (Chapter 1.5)

A Decently Arcane Anecdote (Chapter 1.5)

So back to Agni and his crew.

Oh look they’re in jail now.

(Apart from Phoenix and Agni, someone decided to give them plot armour.)

Agni was stumbling through the forest. “Those damn navy haven’t seen the last of me” he growled, looking back. “Where did Phoenix get to…”

Turns out Phoenix wanted revenge, as, during the fast-paced prison break that won’t be described, he saw a certain second in command of a certain admiral who killed a certain someone.

During the fast-paced prison break that won’t be described

“Phoenix run you useless pirate” Agni shouted, at Phoenix the useless pirate.

At this moment Phoenix was stumbling through the rubble, as someone nearby had a tendency to create, but for no particular reason glanced sideways.

There was a man in a uniform, standing proud, like a normal overly confident person. All of a very expected sudden, Phoenix leapt down (Because he was supposedly up somewhere) and hid between some buildings.

Look we’re back to the normal chronological time now

“Phoenix Magic: Blade of Justice”

“Crystalline Shrapnel”

Time for an actually large-scale battle.

Phoenix stared at the unnamed character who helped kill his brother. The time for vengeance was now.

“Move away men, I think it’s time for me to explain what we do to traitors,” said the unnamed character who is now called Arven.

“Arven… My brother looked up to you, and you killed him” Phoenix screamed in the expected trauma of someone who saw their brother killed in cold blood before their eyes.

“I did nothing, the Admiral did all the work” Arven replied coldly.

“I still must have my revenge”

“Joining a group of pirates is probably a new low for the Winters.”

“Still not as low as the Grand Navy.”

“Crystal Spear!” Screamed Arven.

“Frosted Chaos” Shouted Phoenix as he leapt between the crystalline beams.

“Ultimate Art: Diamond”

With that strike, Phoenix Winter fell. As it turns out he wasn’t the main character.

Agni heard the shout of soldiers closing in on him, and growled “Flaming Lotus” as he evaporated nearby trees.

“There!” said one of the Grand Navy marines, pointing to the evil villain as if nobody could see the evil villain.

And Agni disappeared in a (literal) puff of smoke.

This puts a roadblock in the storytelling, as it turns out I’m out of main characters.

Never mind I found a hero this time. Meet Epilogue Crest user of sand and wind magic.

Epilogue Crest lived on the island of frostmill, and spent his time as a hunter’s apprentice and oh look it’s the end of the chapter you would have never guessed that from the name of the recently introduced side main character.

(And that concludes chapter 2, I probably will spend a bit more time on the next chapter trying to make it better and with more less dry sarcasm)
