A few food related quest changes

A few food related quest changes
effort 5.0 2 quality 5.0 2 reasonability 5.0 2

I’ve spent SO much time playing through the main AO storyline and here are just a few changes I thought would be impactful and provide quality of life to new and old players alike.

Change 1
During the red wake required story quest where you have to make a meal. Remove this requirement if a player had already completed the chef’s quest.
Reason: Tedious/Repetitive

Change 2
Have a player cook fish-based food at the Fishing for Frostmill quest after catching 4 fish.
Dialogue after catching 4 fish and returning to quest-giver:
“Wow, that’s a good haul! I didn’t even know we could get some of those around here. Now, I heard that you’ve been in quite a few battles and I want to give you some advice. Fish based-foods help you recover from your wounds faster. Why not try it out by making a meal with fish?”
Reason: Teaches players about recovery-based foods.

Change 3
Warren should inform the player that they should cook invigorating and energizing food before climbing the stepstones.
Dialogue:
“As much as I don’t trust you… I don’t want you to exhaust yourself and perish. Take these fruits and mushrooms. Make a meal out of them before you ascend the cliff.”
Also add a cooking pot to the bottom of the stepstones
Reason: Teaches players about invigorating and energizing foods.

WE NEED TO COOK.

Yep. Even if sometimes the buffs don’t feel like much, they mean a LOT in fights that take any significant duration of time, so teaching new players should help.

Remove the hunger loss from certain cooked foods as well. All that feature does is disincentivize people from cooking with a wider variety of ingredients

Maybe not that exactly, but make some foods lose hunger but give longer status effects or sum
