I still don’t get how he was irrational enough to decide everyone needs to go but rational enough to target the chains and not to kill his sister
My main question is (I don’t know if this has been brought up yet,) why in the world did Allanon not have his magic activated as soon as he heard her scream. If he truly believed she was in danger, which clearly he did because of how fast he ran to her, why did he not have Phoenix magic ready to go? Not even just for her defense, but for her healing. He managed to survive his poisoning due to his magic, so it’s likely Liara could have been saved as well. But no he just doesn’t use it for whatever reason and get’s stabbed, even though it would have been awesome to reveal his magic at this moment, and there would still plenty of ways for him to get stabbed in the ensuing battle and the assassins to flee. Not only would this be more narratively satisfying since Liara wouldn’t die and we could see her continue to pursue her dreams to get accepted into the medical program (potentially being the one to find a cure for Mageskin since she’d be motivated by Allanon’s affliction,) but it would serve as a great introduction to Phoenix magic and its healing capabilities rather than Allanon throwing a tantrum in the Throne Room and having a regen ability during his boss fight.
Because vetex needed a convenient plot device to make allanon go mad
if Liara lived then we wouldn’t have an Allanon boss
True, and I am fine with Liara dying, however, I feel it could have been done in a way which doesn’t contradict Allanon’s character and abilities. Because the Allanon we know throughout the entirety of the Skyhall arc would not have done absolutely nothing in a magical sense to help Liara after she was stabbed. So again I’m fine with her dying, I just wish they hadn’t done it in a slightly contrived manner.
Nothing to do with the story, but my gripe is that it’s made in Roblox, which has to be one of the worst engines to actually make a functional game on. In my mind, there are 3 things you are avoiding if you don’t make a game on Roblox.
- The 70% tax Roblox takes.
- All the annoying restrictions and bugs that the engine suffers in general
- Your game and you getting looked down upon simply because it’s in Roblox.
They’re not supposed to, according to the NPCs. The only animals up there are birds
