Trying to make a thread to say what all the deckhand proffessions do at max level!
Here’s what I know so far:
Navigator
Increase ship speed by 20%, get max resilience, instantly escape whirlpools when the ability is used
Shipbuilder
Repair 5% of the ships health and boost repairing effectiveness by 33%.
Enchanter
Heals 20% of crews health & gives the ship 30% damage resistance
Cannonneer
Increases cannon reload speed by 50% and decrease fuse lengths by 75% temporarily.
Merchant
Sells 8 chest items of uncommon/common rarity.

It’s only temporary correct?

cannoneer gives 10% at the lowest level, apprentice gives 20%
Merchant seems to affect items rarity and amount of item types. Could also affect shop fund maybe?

Just an example image of the shop, the items and shop balance change.
Takes pearls and jade pearls to upgrade.
The cooking one is just a passive conversion of crew-caught fish to meals automatically. First profession level gives good tier. I assume master gives perfect food.
Useful for selling notebooks sicne they are extinct

Some of these might be redundant but here’s all the info I have so far.
I was actually looking for a post like this cause I didn’t want to pick the wrong jobs for my NPCs and get stuck with it (I don’t like firing my NPCs)
