wait does this mean dying is not an issue in dark sea as long as your ship is still fine?

Once u expire on ur revive or die again after being revived ur ship will despawn immediately.
This would apply to anything else outside the Dark Sea though of course.

I really wish that it wasn’t just instant despawn and instead the ship like instantly starts sinking, so that yknow if you’re playing with other people they aren’t suddenly thrown into the sea

True, though you get 1 chance of leeway via the Party Revive system to whoever owns the Brig

When you “die” when youre in a party with people, you get downed and get a chance to get revived by your friends, though you can only get revived once

is the aquarium like, for show? And will the fish be sized down to fit in? If so i think having a squid as a pet sounds cool 
also i feel like dark sea will be laggy

the aquarium or water carrier or whatever is just for show but you can put some fish you just caught in there like sea bass yellowfin sole or even sharks and squids, anything that’s considered fish that’s not a weapon or whatever (idk if they rot after a day tho probably not)

not english and idk what you mean with round about, but the first asterisk really gives me little gold fish pet vibes (Timer not paused and wont rot while it stays inside), i want anything that looks a bit goofy inside my aquarium for show
You can’t necessarily store them for later use since they’d be rotten once you pulled them out
