yes it is, arcane odyssey is 100% getting buried by november
he has no motivation to work on ao and is transfering to the team, also he said hes working on a new game
its not completely over its just extremely stunted with quality possibly dropping and focusing on game balance
iwl i think arcane odyssey could have succeeded if vetex focuesd on story instead of a trillion features and if full release was released in 4 different parts
Im not gonna post my (definitely legally acquired) patreon info here but vetex lost his passion for ao game development and is letting testers take the wheel for the foreseeable future while he does other shit
that’s pretty much over, when the normal quality is a pile of shit
iirc vetexs friends are major pvpers so i doubt new mechanic additions or thoughtful changes will be happening, just balance change
What i’m about to say is probably a hot take but here we go:
I think it’s for the best, let’s face it vetex has a great vision but i think we all noticed how he’s absolutely burnt out.
Perhaps with the new ownership they’ll be able to do well.
I’m happy that vetex could allow himself to let go of it if it was making him worse.

I get you want to have hope for it but the replacement for vetex are literally "inexperienced"and hired via nepotism… those of which are TESTERS and FRIENDS.
