Shadow does not need mutation crossovers with other magics, it’s already strong on it’s own. Shadow’s whole thing is being strong with only itself

AA - Shadow’s mutations have no crossovers, except for Equinox which is the extremely rare fusion with it’s direct counterpart
AO - Shadow has no synergies, and is the strongest solo magic

Darkflame should NOT be a mutation, and neither should any of the Grand Fire Magics.
They’re simply too strong, and they would just buff up heat magics so much that it’d force un-needed cold magics, which would likely be created out of splitting pre-thought of magics, thus giving cold magic users just shittier magics.

in fairness, I doubt shadow is gonna stay synergyless for long, considering darkness exists. It’s very possible those two will synergize together.

sincerely doubt this since its supposed to be an upgraded shadow, this is like if the fire lost magics couldn’t do shit with fire magic
If shadow got a synergy, it’d just be the strongest magic in the game. It’s best that if it does get a synergy, it’s a measly bonus to just blinding your opponent
