It’s a spinoff, I’ll wait until some more gameplay arises to have an opinion on it.

It looks like they animefied Elden Ring and made it into one of those hero-based enemy beater like Hyrule Warriors, something that I very much dislike since it weakens the serious tone of the world.
Also, from what is shown in this trailer, the narrative seems to be out of place (the “I need your help to prevent tragedy” trope mixed with the “Night Lord” name is actually making me cringe).
It does kinda seem like one of those things that just kinda throws a lot of their old stuff together for a quick easy cash grab thing that panders a decent bit to nostalgia, but that doesn’t mean the game will be bad. It could still be really fun, but I heavily doubt it will be anywhere near as good as any of Fromsoft’s other titles.
This is a spinoff I’m p sure, so it won’t affect the world nor the formula directly (I hope). It’s a thing that exists.
