A new fighting style idea?

I had an unusual dream the other night, so if you wanna know where I got most of my inspiration from, refer to my subconscious mind.

anyway, here’s the picture: a fighting style, that works like an inversion to thermo fist

-a fighting style that, instead of rewarding the user with increased attack speed and agility via chaotic fastpaced movespam…

-punishes the enemy for moving via precise, but deadly strikes that inflict a status which deals a set amount of true damage depending on how fast the opponent’s player-model is travelling in the environment.

The fighting style currently has no name, but the dream I had with this style was that of an angler on some kind of boat using what looked like a shot attack except it was shaped more conical instead of the usual beam shape, my player character 1v1ed her and she inflicted a status effect that had a heart symbol, like, an anatomically accurate heart that dealt damage to me whenever I T-jumped/reflexed

This probably sounds like deranged rambling but I wanna hear your guys opinions on this and what it could possibly be called

Fishing rod that can pass through objects and people, Pesci used it to hook onto Bruno’s heart

so its completely useless unless they are using an unfinished build (you already have an advantage) or are mid dodge reflex (intended to DODGE things so you probably cant hit them)

I mean the idea with the fighting style is you’re I guess like, inflicting some kind of special bleed damage that only triggers when your opponent is moving too much

it doesn’t trigger a crazy amount but it’s enough to be pretty annoying I’d assume

…you’re still dealing damage to them while they’re moving.

true damage just means nothing can really reduce how much someone takes

oh yea also it might have a gimmick where you can “stack” this status and after a climax has been reached it “bursts” and deals extra damage while all the stacks are removed

yeah but there’s barely anything in ao that actually REDUCES damage taken, most things just give more health

just make it deal percentage damage or sum shit because vetex seems to have no qualms with that

each stack adds 1% to the damage taken from the status and the max stack potency is 4%

the “burst” deals 1.5% more than normal and then slows the enemy by 15%
