the hands are fine, it’s just the way the head shape is done, notice the hair and try and think of the character without hair the way the facebones stick out like that with that head shade doesn’t add up and maybe how high the sand is too other than that i like the sky and character’s eyes and the scenario i think the eyes ingame really need a change
maybe take inspiration from the style used in corpse bride by trying to redraw scenes from there you liked in your own style since you can put in the dedication of what it meant to you ( you can try this with other shows and so on to advance further too )
