A problem with Roblox Decals

I’ve been wanting to create a clan, and I’ve been having problems with the mechanics of the Logo ID system. Whenever I find a decal or a Roblox ID and add it in, this is what it displays.

After subtracting some numbers, the picture is, of course, entirely different and not at all what I had chosen. For example, this is a Decal ID I had chosen: 17649285638, and it only worked when I subtracted three numbers. Can anyone help me out on what I’m doing wrong?

PS: This also happens whenever I try adding a decal to my Brig.

Try opening a place in Roblox Studio and putting the Decal into the game. Then check its ID there; it’s far more reliable.

You need to get a decal ID from Studio.
Always worked for me.

you need to use the image id, not the decal id

Another method is to download BTR roblox from the chrome extension store and then when you find a decal you have to press the 3 little blue dots and the green one, then click “decal” then the paperclip next to “texture” and then copy the ID number from that new tab.
