A question about ancient magic heat rankings

so i’ve been trying to plan my last three mage builds and what magics they’ll use and i want them to use my least favourite magics, which would be all the hottest magics

i’ve decided on inferno for the first one since it was a grand fire magic based solely on heat, but i can’t decide whether scorch or blaze is hotter for the second file, cause blaze is lightning which is usually hotter than fire, but scorch is a grand fire magic so it might be a step above anyway

i’ve also been wondering if electron is hotter than blaze or not, cause it says it leaves clouds of burning air which sounds pretty hot, but blaze was made specifically for cursebeard, the strongest person to ever live, so it could also just be a step above anyway

also i know the entire magic list got removed so this could all be pointless but i got nothing else to do

Inferno should be 100% the hottest and the most burning of the fires outside of Promethean Flame, as Scorch is solely focused on explosive fire.

There is one special fire magic though. Sun Magic has the HEAT of a sun but it doesn’t burn as hot as Inferno damage wise

yea, i have sun as the lost for the second file and flare for the first, i’m just having trouble with scorch, blaze, and electron

I imagine scorch would be hottest of the three just by being a grand fire magic, but if it ever does get added Darkflame could be another option.

Personally I imagine blaze edges out scorch just in terms of heat, since scorch is renowned for its destructive capabilities rather than how hot its flames are. Blaze on the other hand is so hot that it changes the colour of lightning to red, and while I have no idea how the science behind that works it gives me of being extremely hot

i think that’s aethereal flame, darkflame apparently has an overcharge mode or smth where it gets hotter so i think it’s second place in terms of grand fire magic

i don’t think we can go off irl fire colours, scorch isn’t even a natural irl fire colour

Scorch would fall on the higher energy wavelength but not much else

i think we can considering the ones that are actually the colors of irl flame do kind of fit what it says (blue being hottest and stuff)
thing is that blaze isnt actually fire

i don’t think fire can actually naturally burn green with just the right amount of heat, everything i’m reading rn mentions that it needs to have copper sulfate or smth to be green

Green and black are the only ones that don’t occur based on temperature

Neither is sun magic, and if we want to go into specifics plasma would technically be hotter than inferno magic since that’s what stars are made of.
