from personal experience, i disagree. he may respond to some valid criticism but me complaining about this game is like yelling at a brick wall i feel.
Okay, heres my take on this.
Both sides are wrong.
Nobody is perfect, we all have flaws.
Perfect outright does not exist.
Vetex has made and will continue to make mistakes.
You can point that out all you want, but that just means hes human.
Going as far to repeatedly attack him over it?
That is something i dont agree with.
Both sides set and held the expectations too high, and are basically trying to gouge eachothers eyes out over it.
Move the fuck on, accept that everybody is in the wrong, and shut up.
And if you cant see that your wrong?
Cry, because its all you can do.
Oh, and while your at it, learn how to provide actual criticism that doesn’t involve insults and yelling.

I fear I will one day ask this same question about AO, as I have for WoM (AA was peak for its time don’t even)
Honestly I think the Port Mistral update reaaaally turned away a decent amount of active players for AO b/c it was such a disappointing update. One spirit weapon skill, weapon wipe bug (from Nimbus update, so 2 disappointing updates in a row), and chapter 2 to the story (that shit was NOT a chapter please don’t defend that)
but being nonconstructive doesn’t help any better, it just serves to make people feel more negative

This is very important since I have no clear idea of how to convey it, but I truly do not wish to be offensive, patronising, rude, and any other synonym to you, the readers, and Vetex.
Please inform me of ways that I can make this clearer as it would be really helpful.
Well I didn’t, which is why I’m not disappointed or making a big deal out of it, but some were because Vetex set his -and everyone’s- expectations too high.
Being aware of a scam doesn’t stop me from complaining about it. While it isn’t on such a level, this remains a breach of trust, one that damaged this relationship.
I do not want to sound harsh nor condescending, but I think that Vetex should learn from his past mistakes and ground himself in reality, no matter how difficult it may end up being.
And yes, I do agree that he shouldn’t be harassed about it either, but we aren’t in his head; He needs to make it clear that he knows so that we stop pestering him with the same bullshit over and over again.
Now with that said, this issue about the 2024 Roadmap is really minor and really doesn’t need so many posts about it. I didn’t even know that people were complaining until this post was made, so what’s up with that?

It’s sad to say, but my biggest criticism of AO is the soundtrack. Well, not so much the current songs in the game, but about what isn’t.
Coming off of AA and especially WoM, a lot of AO just feels empty. Yes, I know the game is in early access, and that it’s very possible that Vetex will add in songs for the majority of the Wilderness islands.
But some decisions just straight up boggle me. Why does the sailing theme stop during nighttime? Why doesn’t the shell island song play outside monoah village? We have this awesome track specifically when fighting the ironfang, yet when boarding the ship to fight evander it just reverts to the default high level theme?
Even though I’m aware that these are lower-priority concerns, I hope that some can be addressed in the full release update.
