increase xp gain by 10% or so per file you have at max level
Details/background on your proposal
currently, it’s impractical at the least to level up every single file to max level, which will become even more prevalent at level 600 (the planned max as of right now). my suggestion is to increase xp gain by 10% for every file you have at max level
Reason to add/change
it’s boring to progress 3 different files, and even to progress 15 if you buy every file possible. additionally, it could be toggleable for the file with a settings option if needed and would be shown in the “Max Level Reached” popup when you hit max level
pros:
- faster progression for people who already finished the story
- essentially scales with max level, as you would not finish the story on all files before an update and get blazing fast progression speed after the update
cons:
- may discourage doing non-quest things for xp after beating the game 5 or so times (as that would be a 150% xp modifier). this could easily be solved by disabling the xp boost for quests and only applying it to cargo, exploration tasks, enemy fighting, etc etc
- harms rainbow trout population
