Somewhere, Far in the outer layers of the dark sea. Something from the unknown lands was coming closer to the War Seas.
The red lighting struck the waters, massive waves clashing with each other. The dark purple mist did not let anything beyond a few meters be seen. This place is supposed to be uninhabitable except for the horrific beings known as Atlanteans that inhabited it. The Atlanteans were seen as just mindless beasts that killed anything they saw. Yet anyone who said this could have never been so wrong now.
Many hooded figures scrambled and ran through the center of the island. In the center, a large rift seemed to go to the depths of hell. They all quickly kneeled in front of the rift. Forming rows and rows as they clasped their hands together in some sort of prayer on their knees. Soon they started mumbling, mumbling in sync as even the lighting strikes didn’t frighten them.
A terrifying presence was felt from the depths of the rift.
The hooded figures looked up, as soon they felt the ground beneath them shake. A hand slowly rose from the rift, grabbing onto the edge. The hand’s grip had such immense force, that it immediately cracked the ground. Slowly, more hands came out of the rift, gripping the edge as it pulled something up. At this sight, the hooded figures began to mumble even harder, still in complete sync with each other.
A body was pulled up from the rift.
The figures stopped their mumbling, all looking in silence at the body. Soon It started to twist, grotesquely twisting its black limbs. The arms wrapped around the torso, before pulling open the chest to show the pulsating heart. Soon they wrapped around the legs, condensing themselves to form thick legs that looked denser than steel. What arms were left, soon formed themselves around the shoulders, down to the fingertips. Forming multiple thick arms that extended out of the torso and the back.
The exposed heart started pulsating like an engine. Soon white veins appeared all over the body and multiple arms. The ribcage of the thing formed around the heart as some sort of cover. Yet the thing was still missing its head. One of the arms lifted itself up and it plunged deep into the thing’s neck, elongating the spinal cord as it extended out of the neck. It flopped downwards before skin and muscle started to grow on it at alarming rates. At the end of the spinal cord, formed a layer of skin that expanded. In the space, it started to fill up with a dark-like mist. Multiple, bright white orbs formed in the mist, giving the illusion of eyes.
The hooded figures looked at the being with joy, quickly bowing deeply in its presence. The being looked down at all of them, soon starting to walk towards the shore of the island. They all formed a pathway for the dark being, quickly raising their hoods to show their true selves. Atlanteants, that’s what they were, Atlanteans. Before the thing fully submerged into the seas, it spoke with a gut-wrenching deep voice.
“Domum nostram reducere faciam, confratres et sorores meae…” It spoke, before disappearing into the depths of the dark sea.
