would recommend using Clearsight, Warding and Healing potions.
Clearsight so you can see through fog better, which should make it easier to get to the epicenter.
Warding for obvious reasons, but you can also substitute it for a warding set.
Healing in case the curse of zeus strikes you.
i considered clearsight yeah, tho it might become a bit too expensive in the long run ( i did get luckly and my ship merchant sold me like 50 glass pearls the other day tho, so ig i can use some next run )
warding yeah i have like 50+ golden petals left, no virturous scroll tho, could ask someone i know

You could farm clearstones at Mount Othrys for tier 4 and 5 clearsight.
hmmm…i see, you should be able to tank a few bolts of lightning i suppose.
but if that’s not enough…you can just make a tier 3+ healing potion, if i remember correctly…healing auras are the best ones.

You could stop by some islands and make shining/golden clearsight potions to get more value out of your materials.
You don’t want to be using anything less than clearsight 3.
I used two tier 5 golden healing elixirs to reach the epicenter.
(they heal a bit over a thousand each)
absurdly expensive but the perfect tool to get out of nearly dying from water poisoning after being swept off your ship by a wave and having an atlantean brig chasing you!
you’ll need warding 6 to survive insanity v too
Warding 5 is fine, I didn’t took any damage when we crossed to insanity 5
why do people think the epicenter is in insanity 5 when insanity 5’s entire purpose is to kill you on the spot for going too far.
the epicenter is in the 5th range, not the 6th lol.
(the 6th range doesn’t even technically exist its just there to kill you)
you need to cross into i5 to find where the border is though

ok so insanity 5 is supposed to kill you extremely quickly and serve as essentially a world border.
if it doesn’t kill you on the spot, that is a bug lol.
