If you go to a crane, you should be able to hold R to place cargo in the crane (max 5) and then E to transfer the cargo to your ship directly. It would look like cargo bundled up in rope at the end of the crane until you move it to your ship’s storage.
Cranes are useless as of now, and I figured they should have a use because it makes sense.
This adds a faster way to load up your ship while not being too overpowered.
Not sure if that is useful… Placing the cargo on ship takes up 3 seconds really.
Maybe if using the ‘buy cargo’ prompt spawned the crates at the crane, so that you wouldn’t have to walk all the way to your ship or the crane?
At the very least, I think that using the crane should let you place stuff in your ship’s storage instead.
Perhaps you interact with the crane whilst holding cargo to put it in your hold?

Honestly, this is probably the best use. For cranes we will get, although I think there should be more of a reason to use them
honestly, decent, definitely more effort needed.
