her purple lightning was supposed to be a mutation back when tech was filling in lore gaps when vetex tossed AA, it was named Scorch i think and was supposed to fill in for Dark Lightning that’d be able to pierce shields and stuff and act as a sniper/super-long-range magic
but when vetex came back, that mutation was scrapped and now we kinda just kept her lightning as its own special thing from the blacksite, still the same idea of it being basically a super-lightning magic
coincidentally soon after, purple lightning made it as its own lightning variant which is pretty cool
Honestly I feel bad for Juniper, she almost got her ass handed to her by a Lightning wizard and now she’s facing someone whose Lightning is even stronger
that was back when tech said it was possible, not really now
theres the one exception with theos when vetex and tech came to the agreement that his third mutation would be arcturus magic
so now his setup is Sun-Phoenix-Arcturus
lore stuff that vetex changed, he nearly scrapped it entirely until he and tech made it canon
technically this only makes theos even more powerful (despite the fact that he’s kinda dead rn)
