Aaand it's back to the drawing board for me

First artwork didn’t turn out so well but I mean I’ll improve (right?).
Also I appreciate ALL feedback no matter how brutal. (like seriously give me all the feedback you have)

If you think this is bad then heaven forbid I ever post any art here, I will be shot

Aside from the face being a little strange this is really good imo

Dawg I don’t even wear the artist role because I don’t even feel like I deserve it

Hey, I’ve heard that unsolicited advice makes one look haughty, so I’ll wait for you to send me a message before sharing what little knowledge I have in this domain.

my man you improved, you really did. You literally are drawing and I am happy you are. Other’s cut themselves so short that honestly I feel we have lost our creativity. If you want some feedback I’d say just work on the placement of the eyes and nose. You really did improve my guy genuinely. Also put the Art role! It makes us proud because we got more artists lol!

Here’s some tips since you look like you want some.
For the nose you would most likely shade the nostril’s of the nose. Now that is if you want to go for a realistic approach. Otherwise draw noses as a V shape that is more fuller as the V goes pointy. You could Also just draw two small upside down V shapes like you did BUT instead of the two curvy lines to the sides of the noses you can just remove them and add a little bit of shading to the top of the nose. Another cool one is you can just draw a nose like a triangle with the right angle side facing the mouth and a bit slanted. But drawing a nose is really difficult and I appreciate the way you approached the nose.

The eyes! Holy I struggled on these and man… It was hard to overcome. I’d say try to angle the top eyelid and make them like a have circle slant, after that make the under eyelid connect to the top eyelid near the corners of the eye closest to the side of the head, this also helps define the eyes. You then can add the eyebrows, Make them thicker depending on the gender, however it’s also a choice. Anyways the eyebrows kinda connect with the nose part which is why, you gotta make the eyes near the mouth. make them a bit lower because the top part of the nose should align with the eyes.

I know my guy, I’ve felt that way too, I mean look at my old art :sob:. As an artist that is your first problem. Confidence my friend, once you beat confidence it’s like almost breaking your limiter from One Punch Man or easier terms like getting a 100% in your class grades or perfectly doing something. It isn’t really easy and only one in a half months ago did I finally do that. My friend you did improve.
Genuinely.

Hopes this helps you!

Np my man! Keep up the great work, it is Determination that many artist’s have gotten good!

I’m so glad I was off my meds when I saw this. I’m so giggly when I’m off meds.

Oh yeah, Determination and whatever else the Undertale checkpoints say.

great job!!!

bro- :sob:

For some reason this reminds of of the

Either way, don’t keep beating yourself up over mistakes, they’re how you learn
(and besides it’s not like I can do any better with digital art lol I prefer traditional for unexplainable reasons)

zenith good to see you around here

I refrain from inputting any criticism unless I am asked otherwise.

that face looks cursed af

well uhh, I like this but only because it looks funny

For real tho I think the base shapes (excluding most of the facial features) of most things are not bad, if you improve on the facial features you’ll improve drastically imo.

It’ll be good if you’re able to eye out your biggest issues right off so you can improve on them, we all start somewhere… I know damn well how I started because I still keep my old drawings, the sheer amount of cringe undertale art I have stored up in there :sob:

I’m asking for it

I know right? :sob:

Hey, this isn’t that bad at all! Better than a lot of people lmao
If you’re interested I could potentially give you personal lessons and tips :DDD
I think what needs the most work is anatomy. Many artists struggle with it, you’re not alone! I think the best thing to do is study anatomy of humans and try to simplify features into simple shapes like triangles, circles, and rectangles.
You can also look at the work of other artists and try to replicate their styles! Replicating pictures and styles is a very good way of practicing.

Alright, well, I’ll give you some credit since you’re presumably a beginner, but I do have a lot of things to comment on.

I’d absolutely love that, also thanks for the feedback
