I know you’ve probably heard this before, but why is it, even if he is a 2 phased boss, that his difficulty amps to 10 so quickly? Is it to basically adapt people to PVP aspects quickly, or what? Just curious.

Yeah kinda weird how the game goes from two relatively easy bosses (or at least simple) straight to Elius, who was at first considered the hardest boss (till people got to the king). I’d have liked it if there was a boss at around level 30-40, be it mini or not, that acted as a middle ground between something like Iris to Elius.
Nope, because if it were to teach you to adapt to PVP, Elius would be spamming metal magic to the point you can’t see anything other than metal.

I mean, hard to dodge in that small arena (that also holds you down against your will and gobbles up your attacks), blocking is useless if the target is relentless and spams attacks- and you cant dodge them, and parrying is hard (thats my biggest skill issue 
).

Yeah he was pretty easy with my berserker slot at level 61 (just spam m1s lol), but I couldnt solo him with my light mage slot or my metal mage slot both being at lv 63-65 I think, how do I resolve such a skill issue 
They just need to nerf his heal imo
I would argue that Elius is the 1st real boss of the game.
I personally adore his fight after I became aquainted with his moves and the step-up in difficulty is a primer for what bosses are gonna be like going forward.
So if you’re lacking in skill for the time being, perhaps it’s worth getting yourself geared up or adjusting your attacks. Different stat builds (Mage, Berserker etc.) will of course have varying experiences with difficulty.

I can tell he was thought out quite well in teaching those who need to learn about dodging, Blocking and Parrying, but the heals are a bit annoying when potions are not out yet as well, then again you should expect Ravenna to be more advanced, being the corrupt capitol it is.
