About spirit weapons

Hello.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how well the legend of muramasa’s swords fits the description of spirit weapons that we currently have.

Muramasa’s blades, at least in the version that I know of, were " blessed" by the gods to have incredible cutting prowess.
They were also considered cursed tho, since they were so bloodthirsty that often caused the injury or death of the wielder himself.
Fits pretty nicely, doesn’t it?

Would be interesting to also see an eventual muramasa inspired weapon in contrast with a masamune inspired one, character often opposed in legends to muramasa.

That
Is interesting actually

could be cool

I don’t know what blades are yall talking about, can someone explain? And I still think material weapons belong to knights, normal spirit weps will be incorporeal

Gods created weapons that could be infused with one’s soul so no, spirit weapons are physical objects

We’ll see

So, please, can you guys tell me, what are these muramasa swords?

muramasa was a famous swordsmith in the 1500s, but it’s said that the swords he forged were cursed, to the point that they could even kill the user

Thanks you both for the explanation, though if I was choosing myself a cursed weapon, I would never choose katana, rather something more reliable and heavy. Speaking of Japan weaponry, something like kanabo or odachi

Yep, thats better

The only thing I know for real…

Better sprite I agree

Muramasa reminds me of that one Bleach filler arc, when will we be able to control the spirit weapons of other Wardens?
