Jorund, the Frostbound Pirate
At first Jorund and his crew thought these new ships were some new nobody group of pirates or bounty hunters out in this particularly harsh storm, until the Atlantean ship had rammed into them, with many horrific beasts boarding the ship and assaulting his crew
While they may have won, they unfortunately had received many injures and started growing sick, at first jorund just assumed it was poison or just some normal disease with how disgusting those monsters were, but when his own crew started to fight each other, their minds eroded, Jorund began to freeze them all, his own crew, everyone that was supposed to be working under him
Afterwards, he was in a state of shock and fear of what the hell these monsters were, eroding the mind, turning his own crew into the same kind of monsters?
If he would ever be bitten or scratched, he would not even risk it, he would use magic to create a replacement limb if the the injury is something that can be replaced despite the risks it posed on his own mind, by stopping the flow of excess magic from going through his entire body, he can stop himself from being turned into one of those monsters, at the very least he may keep a majority of his body
yet, he quickly grows lonely, the monsters had taken his only company
Ormolu, the Atlantean Anchor
Due to being buried under an entire mountain, the pollution of the rain has not affected them, still able to use the curse with all the control he had, though due to his insanity, that did not really matter all that much
The Atlanteans could all sense him, so close, RIGHT THERE in their face
Their sensing of Ormolu blocked most of their sensing from noticing what was above them, from the much easier prey, causing them to swarm the stepstones, trying to find a way in while slaughtering and eating eachother
It was impossible to enter or leave the sky islands of the bronze sea
Octavious Ceasar, the undying king
Every attack came in waves, waiting for the storm to settle, swarm, and fall before the storm would rise again
yet, as a undead, Ceasar’s rotting body does not regenerate itself naturally, only restoring itself upon being defeated, and growing more in more with each resurrection
But without the ability to heal himself, and having limited lives, there is only so long even he can last against the swarms of Atlanteans, and with every life being more powerful, it resulted in both larger amounts of Atlanteans and stronger Atlanteans to show up. They would eat anything, especially when it was so magically dense with energy that could be consumed, even if it was rotting
