also want to add that i don’t think this would detriment the game’s engagement/replayability at all, but moreso improve it by making the player’s efforts actually worth it, even by a small amount

i like it but i’m worried that vetex NEEDS an excessive amount of premium payouts in order to not starve while developing the game

I can assure you that I’ve thought of many suggestions, but I can’t assure you that I’ll not write 80% of it and then forget about it.

Maybe, since this topic kinda popped off, I’ll actually make more suggestions for real this time.

this would encourage me to try out new builds more often honestly, 3 star reasonability since as people have mentioned this might not be something vetex would add

also it’s worth noting that most xp sources besides killng npcs and quests are percentage based if memory serves- like getting a new fish type is 1/10 of your xp bar, treasure spots are 1/2 bar (or full bar if it’s the last spot/a common chart)

Personally I hate stat reset suggestions because most of them are kind of ass and are seemingly made by toddlers.

(make my life easy suggestions)

But I like the idea of a XP bar filling up and allowing you to change classes in a much better grindable fashion that isn’t RNG based.

I think this concept can be built over or be inspired on instead of the acrimony as it is a Non lore accurate item and changing the system shouldn’t be a big hassle of any kind.
