Proposal

With the ability to disable the torso, you’re able to combine the game’s base shirts with non-standard model armors for more outfit potential. Why not take this a step further and add a slot above the extra vanity slots to replace your base shirt, so that you can combine stuff like Iron or Titanium armor with stuff like the Merchant or Seafarer coats. while you’re at it, might as well fix the bug (I think its a bug) that forces iron and steel armor to default to chainmail without the torso.

Details/background on your proposal

What this would entail is a slot above the extra vanity slots, acting as a second slot for shirts. Putting a shirt item into this slot would replace whatever the base shirt is with the shirt in this slot. This would allow for the combination of items such as the merchant’s coat, seafarer’s coat, and sailor’s jacket with armors such as steel or titanium, increasing outfit potential.

Reason to add/change

Would increase outfit variety.

If I’m reading this correctly, you are asking to be able to combine the shirt replacement armors with the body model replacement armors. I think that is fine, though it might make the vanity menu a bit crowded (i think that’s fine since the extra vanity slots already exist).

holy shit yes

why didn’t I think of this?
